I, hereby acknowledge, undertake, and accept the following regarding my participation in Alula Duathlon 2025, Alula Half Marathon 2025, Alula Endurance Race 2025, and/or Ashar Valley Triathlon 2025, as well as any associated events (hereinafter referred to collectively or individually as the “Event”) managed by the Royal Commission for AlUla (hereinafter referred to as the “RCU”):

1. I confirm that I’m legally qualified to participate in the Event and do not require permission from any third party. Furthermore, I confirm that I am physically and mentally fit to participate in the Event, devoid of any medical or other reservations.
2. In the event that I register an individual other than myself for the Event, I confirm that I have the legal capacity to do so and acknowledge my obligation to ensure that such individual agrees to and complies with this acknowledgment and undertaking.
3. I agree to adhere to all instructions issued by RCU or any person appointed by RCU in connection with the Event.
4. I understand that RCU reserves the right to cancel or amend the Event at any time and for any reason.
5. I acknowledge that participation in the Event may involve exposure to potentially risky activities, and I accept and assume all risks associated with my participation in the Event.
6. I release RCU and any person appointed by RCU in connection with the Event from any and all liability arising from the Event, except in cases of RCU’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct, and I waive any claim which I may be entitled to regarding any injury, loss, or damage of any kind whatsoever that I may suffer as a result of participating in the Event.
7. I consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary, as provided and recommended by RCU, and understand that I will be solely responsible for all costs associated with such treatment.
8. I consent to the use, processing, or publication of my name, pictures, and videos captured in connection with the Event for broadcasting or advertising purposes as determined by RCU.
