Hegra Candlelit Classics is a unique live music experience set within the ancient landscape of Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guests enjoy world-class performances under the stars, surrounded by candlelight and centuries of history.
Yes, tickets are required and should be booked in advance through the Experience AlUla website or app. Seating is limited to preserve the intimate atmosphere of this exclusive event.
The performances take place at a specially selected outdoor site within the heritage landscape of Hegra. Exact location details are shared with ticket holders closer to the event date.
We recommend smart casual attire and comfortable shoes. As the event is held outdoors at night, bring a light jacket or shawl for cooler desert evenings. All other essentials are provided on-site.
Complimentary shuttle transport is provided for General Admission guests from Winter Park. Premium ticket holders can enjoy free parking directly at the Hegra Visitor Centre. Full directions and transport details are shared upon ticket confirmation.
Kadim Al Sahir captivated an entire audience during his 22 Nov concert as part of the Hegra Candlelit Classics, with the stunning Hegra as the perfect backdrop. He rendered some of his best-known hits, characterised by soulful lyrics and melodies that have endeared him to fans beyond borders and languages.
Oud virtuoso and composer Naseer Shamma performed with Spanish guitar legends, the Barcelona Guitar Trio, followed by internationally acclaimed pianist Khatia Buniatishvili.
