REGISTRATION PROCESS

1) CHOOSE YOUR CHALLENGE
Whether it’s the Olympic distance, Sprint or Kids Super Sprint - select your race.

2) PAY FOR YOUR SPOT
Complete your payment on ExperienceAlUla.com to lock in your place and become part of the first ever AlUla Duathlon.

3) CONFIRMATION AND REGISTRATION
You will receive a payment confirmation email AND a separate email from our partner Race Arabia with a link to a registration form. Enter the full registration details for you and any other participants on your booking - using the personalised link.

4) GET READY TO RACE
Once you’ve submitted the form, Race Arabia will send the e-ticket for each participant, with everything you need to know about your challenge. Expect essential race info, logistics guidance, and tips to help you prepare for an unforgettable experience in AlUla.

Overview

The first AlUla Duathlon, an action-packed day of multisport racing featuring Olympic, Sprint, and Kids’ distances, launches for the Wellness Festival. Set against the stunning backdrop of AlUla’s desert landscape, participants will run and cycle through iconic scenery in a test of endurance and determination. The route passes through oasis and mountain terrain, while a bustling race village at Winter Park offers an array of food and beverage options, as well as post-race DJ sets - creating a memorable atmosphere for participants and spectators.

  • Only those pre-registered with bib and chip allowed to race.
  • Spectators welcome in Race Village free of charge.
  • No registration accepted on the day of the event.

Complimentary parking is available at Winter Park.

Kindly note visitors must drive to the location as transportation is not provided.

Adult Olympic (18 years and above)

250 SAR | Participants will first run 10km, then cycle 40km, and finally complete a 5km run.

Sprint (16 years and above)

200 SAR | Participants will first run 5km, then cycle 20km, and finally complete a 2.5km run.

Kids Super Sprint (5-16 years old)

50 SAR | Participants will first run 1km, then cycle 3km, and finally complete a 1km run.

Please note that all experiences are subject to weather and visibility conditions.

  • Running attire and appropriate shoes.
  • Cycling helmet and lights required.
  • Transition bags allowed.
  • Race not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers.
  • Race Village is wheelchair accessible.
  • Race packs: These must be collected in person by each participant at the Race Village in Winter Park. They contain your bib number and chip. Pick-up closes at 06:25 on the day of the race.
  • Timings: To keep the race running smoothly, please ensure you arrive on time. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to accommodate late starts - anyone arriving more than 5 minutes after their race begins will not be permitted to compete.
  • Refunds: Cancellations and refunds are not permitted.
  • Medals: Finisher medals will be handed out at the finish line, with additional prize giving taking place from 08:00am.
