The 'In Our Hands' project celebrates AlUla's invaluable heritage through a unique handprint experience.
Duration: 45 mins
Minimum age: 5 years

This initiative invites you to support and celebrate the living heritage of AlUla. As well as raising awareness around preserving AlUla's historical and natural treasures, the project also aims to promote the preservation of intangible elements — the daily acts, rituals, and values — that keep a culture alive.
Be welcomed with storytelling that exalts the spirit of AlUla before sharing traditional Saudi coffee and your own experiences of AlUla. Next, you are invited to imprint your hand in local clay before a hand-washing ritual and a photo by the Wall of Legacy. All proceeds from the event will be dedicated to protecting the region’s cultural heritage.

Old Town
Inhabited until the not-so-distant past, Old Town is a labyrinth of tightly packed streets lined with mudbrick houses, shops and squares. Above it all, a 10th-century fort still watches over the town and its scenic desert valley.
Heritage
Take a journey to both the ancient and recent past. Uncover preserved tombs, sandstone outcrops, historic dwellings and monuments, both natural and man-made, that hold 200,000 years of largely unexplored human history.
