Overview

The first stop on this journey back in time is Dadan, the ancient Kingdom of the Lihyanite and Dadanite civilisations. Next, a coach bus takes you on a 10-minute drive to Jabal Ikmah. Set in a stunning desert canyon, this ‘open-air library’ has the most impressive collection of inscriptions, rock art, and petroglyphs in AlUla and is the largest of its kind in Saudi Arabia. Choose a guided tour with our local Rawi storytellers or explore the sites and learn independently with our Heritage Rangers and an audio guide.

Journey through the ancient wonders of Dadan and Jabal Ikmah on this two-hour audio tour. Led by a Heritage Ranger with immersive audio narration in five languages, explore carved tombs, inscriptions, and rock art, travelling by bus within Dadan for a deeper cultural connection.
