Overview

AlUla Skyrise is a breathtaking mass ballooning experience that sees 30 hot air balloons ascending together across the skies of Hegra. The balloons are open to guests, who will be transported in comfort from select 4- and 5-star hotels to the launch site for light refreshments - before enjoying cinematic views of AlUla’s landscape. As the balloons rise in unison, the magic of the experience unfolds in the silence of the early morning air. The flight lasts approximately 60 minutes and after landing, guests are returned to their pick-up point, carrying memories as vivid as the views.

  • Experience needs to be pre-booked and ticket scanned on arrival.
  • Tickets must be booked by 16:00 the day before your planned flight.
  • Not suitable for children under 6.

The operator will reach out to guests in advance of their flight to arrange pick-up.

  • Transportation from agreed pick-up location to balloon take off site
  • Light refreshments before the flight - including Arabic tea and coffee, water and dates
  • Spectacular hot air balloon flight over AlUla lasting approximately 60 minutes
  • Return transportation
Please note that all experiences are subject to weather and visibility conditions.

Guests are advised to wear warm clothing as it can be cold in the morning. A cap and sunglasses are also recommended

  • Refunds are allowed up to 7 days before the experience date or request a refund using the contact us form.
  • Please note that any bank credit card charges cannot be refunded.
  • If the balloons are not able to fly on the day of the event due to inclement wind conditions then a full refund will be given.
