Design Space AlUla is a new centre for design in the region celebrating works of local and international creatives. Located in the heart of the AlJadidah Arts District, the space explores and engages with practices from around the world filtered through the lens of AlUla’s cultural and natural landscapes. It aims to fuel creative inquiry and expression through a programme of collaboration and exchange, creating a space for designers, architects, urban planners as well as design enthusiasts to learn, collaborate, experiment, make and share.

Design Space AlUla will host a range of design-focused events, including workshops, exhibitions, and collaborative projects spanning graphic design, product design, architecture and urban planning.

Design Space AlUla will open on 15 February 2024 with its inaugural exhibition 'Mawrid: Celebrating Inspired Design'. The show will introduce the design thinking process behind 10 AlUla-inspired designs across design, architecture and urban planning.

Design Space AlUla is a new design centre and the first permanent gallery, archive and workshop space dedicated to showcasing design initiatives across AlUla.
You’ll find Design Space AlUla in the heart of the AlJadidah Arts District.
Design Space AlUla is open weekdays (Sun to Thu) from 16:00 to 22:00 and weekends (Fri and Sat) from 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 23:00.
Free parking is available at the Old Town South Parking or the larger Old Town North Car Park. Shuttle services are available from the parking zones to the entrance of Old Town or AlJadidah, respectively. Both areas are pedestrian-only and within easy walking distance of each other.
