About Fayza
Born and raised in AlUla, Fayza lived in an old farmhouse with her father's vegetables growing just a few meters away. Their home was always full of friends and family who passed through AlUla on their route to other areas. One could always find a pot cooking over the stove, or a cake just got out of the oven. Even if they didn't have much, Fayza's mother would ask her to pick some vegetables from the farm to cook. A few years after Fayza married, she moved with her husband to France and then to the USA before finally coming back and settling in Saudi Arabia.
As a grandmother, Fayza cooked all the great dishes she learnt in AlUla, along with dishes she learnt on her travels. She loves fresh ingredients, as they remind her of AlUla farms, and she would always rather cook something she grew instead of something she bought.
Years later, Fayza returns with her delicious dishes, an open door and her welcoming table, where there is always room for one more.
