Video: Moroj Adil on her Inspiring Cycling Journey

Saudi Arabia’s first ever pro cyclist is breaking barriers and putting AlUla on the world cycling map

Around two years ago, Moroj Adil was attempting to find her balance as she rode a bicycle for the first time.

And now, the young and ambitious Saudi woman is confidently cycling as a professional rider, proudly wearing her AlUla gear as part of the Liv AlUla Jayco Women's Continental Team, a UCI Women’s Continental team.

As Saudi’s first pro cyclist, with the backing of her supportive family, Moroj has a lot to prove. But in her own words, “I really want to be a good role model,” and she is hoping to inspire others to take up the sport and raise AlUla’s profile as a cycling destination.

As the city is currently hosting AlUla Tour 2025, Moroj’s story gains even greater significance, elevating the destination’s status on the global cycling map. It highlights AlUla’s breathtaking landscapes and the region’s rapidly growing cycling culture. With 17 teams competing in the tour, including the Liv AlUla Jayco team, we wish AlUla's Name Partner the best of luck in achieving top rankings in this beloved event..
