Madrasat Addeera is the go-to place in AlUla to ignite your creative side and get your hands (and brain) working on fascinating arts and crafts projects. Located in the heart of the AlJadidah Arts District, this creative hub is dedicated to reviving ancient crafts, celebrating heritage, and fostering meaningful opportunities for the local community within AlUla’s thriving tourism landscape.
Once the Old Girls’ School, Madrasat Addeera has been transformed into a serene yet dynamic space for art and design, doubling as a place for AlUla’s locals to practice ancient crafts such as embroidery, jewellery making, basket weaving, ceramics and more. Many of these items are later sold at AlUla’s Old Town Market, helping support the locals.
Throughout the year, Madrasat Addeera invites visitors to be part of this merging of traditions, art and craft, and community empowerment through engaging workshops suitable for creative individuals and families, including children. Don’t miss out on these exciting sessions during February:
