The stunning oasis of AlUla is set to host one of the Gulf’s most prestigious equestrian events, with AlFursan Endurance AlUla 2025 returning from 7th to 9th February. As the pinnacle of the city’s equestrian season, the elite endurance race will unfold against AlUla’s striking desert landscapes, blending sport, heritage, and natural beauty in a spectacle of stamina and skill.
The event will welcome 250 elite riders from across the globe, all vying for victory in two world-class competitions: the 120km Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Endurance Cup (CEI 2) and the 160km Al Mutadil Endurance Cup (CEI 1). With a record-breaking SAR 15 million prize pool for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Endurance Cup and an additional SAR 5 million for the Al Mutadil Endurance Cup, AlFursan Endurance AlUla 2025 cements itself as one of the most lucrative endurance races in the world.
Beyond the competition, this event marks a crucial step in AlUla’s ambition to become a global leader in endurance sports, paving the way for the FEI Endurance World Championship 2026. The AlFursan Equestrian Village, a state-of-the-art facility, will provide a top-tier experience for both horses and riders, ensuring the highest standards of equestrian excellence.
The significance of AlFursan Endurance AlUla extends far beyond the racetrack. As part of Saudi Vision 2030, the event is a catalyst for economic growth, talent development, and community engagement in the region. With initiatives designed to introduce local youth to equestrianism, AlUla continues to strengthen its reputation as a premier destination for the sport while fostering a thriving local industry.
